Reddit is a safe haven for those that want to participate, yet stay anonymous, on the internet. r/AsianBeauty is filled with product recommendations on people’s holy skincare grails. I find this subreddit to be more credible than beauty YouTubers or influencers, who have an obvious incentive to endorse certain products since big name brands sponsor them. However, the majority of redditors are anonymous, so they have nothing to gain when they review and promote products. Although this might be optimistic or a bit naive, it seems that the people that post in the subreddit genuinely want to help others with their skin. Kbeauty reddit In an episode where she does an overnight stakeout with colleague Jangmi, she pulls out a pink stick that she applies all over her face, including her lips. To her colleague's surprise, she explains that the product can be used a lot of ways, and is really moisturizing. We believe you, Jung Tae-eul (Kim Go-eun's character in the show)!

Whether you try South Asian products or East Asian products, first try to identify what is your skin type and what are your skin concerns: dry, oily, or combination; sensitivity to fragrance/actives; acne; hyperpigmentation; fine lines/wrinkles; texture, etc. Then, after you identify your skin do research on what ingredients will help your concerns and what might irritate it. This will also probably require some trial and error. For example, my skin dislikes Shea Butter but it loves Squalane, both common ingredients in moisturizers. Also, sometimes less is more. Not every Asian skincare routine requires 11 steps, mine certainly doesn't! Sheryll Donerson Do you often find yourself looking for the kbeauty reddit? You don’t know where to start or what to buy. I bought a laneige cream from Marshall’s. Tried to confirm it’s not expired but can’t find anything. My batch code is FNM178 TruSkin Vitamin C Serum for Face, Anti Aging Serum with Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin E, Organic Aloe Vera and Jojoba Oil, Hydrating & Brightening Serum for Dark Spots, Fine Lines and Wrinkles, 1 fl oz (This is my favorite tip so far.) Closed comedones are pimples hidden by a clogged pore. They often look like tiny skin-toned bumps that appear on your forehead or jawline. Use a chemical exfoliator, like a AHA (alpha hydroxy acid), which exfoliates the top layer of the skin and “unglues” dead skin cells, or a BHA (beta hydroxy acid), which exfoliates the sebum (a.k.a that gross yellow oily substance) within the pimple and “degunks” your pores. These chemical exfoliators remove the dead skin cells and sebum, allowing the closed comedones to clear up.
